What age is it for?

Ages 4 to 8. Younger children enjoy it too, with a grown-up close by. Every line is read aloud, so your child doesn’t need to read yet.

Which languages can we play in?

English and Hindi today. You can switch at any point in a story. Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi and Telugu are next, depending on what families ask for.

What do we need to play?

Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. Nothing to install. An app is on the way.

Where do the stories come from?

From the Panchatantra, the Jataka tales and the Akbar–Birbal folk tales. We retell each one in our own words, with our own art, for young children.

Is it free?

The stories on this page are free to play right now. Founding families will get the full library as it grows.
